Doc Marten's MD

I was wishing to own a Doc Marten's for like 17 years already. Its like something i wish i had when i was still a teenager and after so long i now own one. Yeepee. Im so shallow.

Please ignore the stupid look on my face. I was still thinking if im getting the Gold or the Silver one.


I was at the verge of getting the Silver one but the shop assistant told me the gold looks better. I tried it on again and again and I was convinced.

Yay! I now own an 8 eye ( hole) Doc Marten's boot. I was just shouting this one out on Facebook the other week and i saw those babies in Festival Mall. I think they're just selling all the remaining stocks and they'll pull out. Sad. This is so meant to be ( to have the shoes that is).

And to add another gastos for today. I bought two gray shirts from Cherry Rocking Blue ( same owner of the defunct Camp Beverly Hill). I wasnt able to take a picture of their interior but it was so lovely. Goth-Glam lovely.

This reminded me of MAD or Jay Leno or David Letterman.


For the record the design is a Ladybug and NOT a cockroach. hehehe

Kiddie party

It was soo raining last Sunday but i still attended Chloe's kiddie party. I just left Roo at home coz the weather was unpredictable. Met up with my HSBC friends.






Then we watched KimmyDora after, which was a sureball laugh trip. Im being a fan of KimmyDora, i swear. Sulit ang 120PHP. We were so hungry after the movie we ate at Tia Maria's.

On Polka dots and Stitches

ATC Tambay

Hanz and I had lunch at Pepper Lunch. Here is what i ordered. Chicken and Salmon Combo. The chicken was half cook but the fish, yummy!

Hanz got Beef Pepper Rice. Too much pepper for him but i like it coz the beef was so thin it reminded me of bacon.

This is what you see when you order. Everything is visually computed in front of you.

Overall experience, K lang. Price is kinda steep. Na miss ko tuloy ang Kimchi sa food court.

I was looking for this. Buti na lang we went to the Crocs side and saw the yogurt stall. Its more sour than the Nestle yogurt. Na miss ko rin tuloy yun.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and my boots

Ive watched the movie and i love it! I liked the cinematography. This was better than the last one. I still shed a tear when Dumbledore died and feel sorry for him when he was drinking the potion. What happened to Draco, he doesnt look charming. The clothes they wore were up to date and really grown up.

I find the love triangle of Hermione, Ron and Lavander cute. In the credits i saw Cho Changs name but i dont recall seeing her in the film. However, they didnt expound on Snape being the Half blood Prince. Theoretically, they should have explained that Snape was born of a muggle father and a wizard mother ( read: mother's maiden name is PRINCE), that makes him the Half blood Prince.

I love the fact that Luna and Bellatrix were there. I am those two. Luna was so pretty in her costumes. What just bums me is that whenever they say a spell, its either too soft or fast. Oh, almost forget, i kinda miss seeing the snake head Voldemort.

I cant wait for the last installment. I am still a Harry Potter fan.

Im so bum i woke up and it was still raining. So my Plueys made their debut in the South. After almost 2 years of being stored in the closet waiting to be used again.

Happy Harem

I was reading the newspaper the other day and saw an SM ad about Harem and Jodhpurs pants. I really controlled myself not to rush to SM but after a day i really cant sleep. I wanted to see for myself if they are selling harem pants in SM.

Off i go to Southmall. I was suppose to buy shoes but i decided to check out the pants. My hope was almost gone but when i saw the display i was like..pot of Gold pot of Gold!!!!

I got 6 different pants with different colors and tried them on. I wont post the other pants i got, its not flattering.

Last night when i walked through the lobby of my office, i was waiting for the cold wave to hit me. I was disappointed. Its gone. Too bad, my mom gave me 2 jackets, to add to my many jackets, and i was ready to strut it publicly. So ill just wear it in the office instead.

Hats off to Leanne for winning Project Runway season 5. I like her structural dresses but im more of a Karto fan. I never saw Karto win as much time as she deserves to and at the end its still not her. Sad sad but thats how it is. Goodjob to Kenley for bringing the Alice in Wonderland in play for the collection.

A Rollercoaster

Since im at home trying to get my body back into shape from the accident i encountered last friday, i got time to hear mass with the family and time alone in the pc.

Project Runway is one episode away from Bryant Park. It was really a rollercoaster. Tim Gunn is so sweet. He gave out a speech and shed a tear of care for the remaining four finalist. I was really glued to my seat when the judges announced the last designers name for Fashion Week. Unfortunately, i was sad to see Jorell go.

In this episode you would also see how Kenley was appreciated by Tim and why she looks like a pin up girl, coz her grandma was one. Cool!

I am so grateful for the gift of time and family for this week. I was allowed to go on VL last friday and i bought Roo to the doctor.

Last saturday i visited the wake of my kada's mom Chelo with Jill. Mama Pilar we will surely miss you. Jill, Hanz and I had dinner at Amici. We were in a rush to eat we forgot to take a picture of our food. I ordered Futti de Mare ( pizza seafood), Pasta veggie with meat and gelato. Yum! We went Ukay at Makati Cinema Square. Its a good thing they accomodated us even if they will be closing in an hour. Will post stuff i bought once i wear them. Jill got me 3 black pants. Cool! I seldom buy pants in Ukay because i find it so difficult to find a size.

Hanz and I went to Divi to buy Roo's give away. Unfortunately, the whole building of toy stuff is closed. Bummer! Plus it Rained! We just bought DVD and some stuff. Sheesh.

My shopping escapade.
Early breakfast meeting with Mac brings me to places wherein i would wonder, why in the world was i there. After a jolly hotdog we decided to go to Divisoria. I swear it was never peer pressure.

This are what i got.


Blue Tank top for 50 pesos. Blue shorts for 100pesos. Red earrings for 20.00php.

Orange wayfarer for 200php.


And a green plaid blouse for 350pgp. Im addicted to plaid now...i know, its just a phase.

I cant say im back with my old self. What is my old self by the way? My old self is the one who enjoys the mall, fitting and buying and swiping and at the end when its ime to consolidate the expenses realize that, im a shophaholic.

Here are some stuff i bought.

This dress is from Get Laud. I thought it wouldnt fit but their clothes are figure friendly. Plus the price is pocket friendly too. Proudly Pinoy.

This top is my fave. I was trying to find any plaid blouse in Ukay but there's none. When i saw this in Human, which i dont normally go into, i bought it. Hanz calls this my Jessie blouse ( from Toy story).

Im also itching to buy a new havies but decided not too. This is something i buried for a long time, buying stuff using my card. I normally save money and buy in Ukay or Divi but i felt that time i have to reward myself for my hardwork. Okay, okay..im justifying. hahaha

Im still reading the 3rd installment of The Twilight saga. I want to tug Bella's hair until it falls off. Violent hehehe...feeling maganda kasi or kainin na lang sya ni Victoria.

Im currently listening to Jason Mraz - Im yours and No Doubt - Running.

Im suppose to be sleeping now coz after 4 hours im awake again and off to work.

Another visit to Maynila
Had a visit to one of my happy place in the metro, Divisoria. Here is my swag.
L-R: Red patent quilted generic bag (250.00php), Polka dotted canvas Lacoste bag (450.00php), Hot pink and black Shemah scarf (150.00php), 2 packs of tablea de cacao sweetened and unsweetened (130.00php), leather multicolored belt ( inspired by lego but Hanz says Tetris, 75php), Shades (150.00php), Hopia combi ube and quezo (42.00php) and Sandals (75.00php)

Not included in the picture are: Hanz's canvas wrist bag (150.00php) and a violet and black Shemah for my mom.

The next visit would be for a long time again. December maybe in time for Christmas.

We ate at Eng Bee Tin in Ongpin and this is what we had.
Hanz ordered Chicken mami and i got Beef Brisket. We ordered shrimp and pork combi dimsum and Coke Zero. I am really not a Coke fan.

After dinner we went to Resurrection to buy Cacao. Just being there and smelling the area is sooo Willy Wonka-ish. It rained so hard that we improvised these plastic bags as hats. Its so Muchos Grasas fashion! hahaha.

And since the main reason why i went to Maynila is to meet Gerith to give her my padala for Lany, we waited for her in Malate.
We stayed at Starbucks and while waiting i did this.

Malate will always and forever be my bohemian home. I love it. It can never be dugyot for me, even if there was Muziklaban at the Circle.

I attended Phia's 1st bday at Mcdo. Roo wasnt there coz he was at home sleeping. So i made the posterity pictures for him. I got my batik dress from Davao, a stall in Aldevinco, for 150php.
