Oh i love YouTube. I was almost at the brink of tears when i realized i missed the 2nd episode of The Amazing Race All Star. The Race that would top all the other races. Then my hubby told me, look it up in You Tube. So there i was searching for The Amazing Race All Star. Lo and behold! They have the complete episodes. What a spoiler! I tried my very best not to watch the other episodes and i managed. My EQ is improving by the minute.

Since YouTube is the best, i was able to watch Startalk, The Buzz and Rated K, about Kris Aquino, James Yap and Hope Centeno. Gosh so much for my interests. Travel and chismis. hehehe

and im fighting the urge Not to go back to work. I know deep in my heart i dont want to leave Roo at home but i need to. So Working Mom, I am.

What I accomplished during my 2 months stay?

1. I learned that its easy to bathe a newborn, as long as you have the net where you can place the baby on.

2. Wiping off POOP on my littleone's bumbum.

3. To be available always when my Roo cries.

4. Breastfeeding is still best for babies.

5. Discovering the joys of ordering things online and paying through G-Cash.

6. Buying mommy magazines instead of my normal vitamins of fashion mags.

7. Rekindeling communication with old friends.

8. Becoming a fan of Maging Sino Ka Man. Man, they are good.

9. Eating healthy.

10. Value of time. If you have so many things to do so little time, there will come a day that you have so many time with nothing to do.

That was taken when we went to the Health Center for immunization. For parents, i recommend you go to any Las Pinas Health Center for cheaper vaccination. Imagine my private pedia was asking for 3k for DPT, OPV and HiB and i just shelled out 900 pesos for the Hib (anti- meningitis) since that is not government subsidized. Of course, you have to donate any amount for the clinic. Not bad. If you have time just bring the baby book so that they can monitor what vaccizine is needed by the baby.

Going back, after the center visit we went to Southmall to buy Paracetamol for Roo and he was still in the sling. People were staring at me as if im from a tribe or something. Good thing i didnt hear any negative comments but a positive one instead from the saleslady in Baby Co. "Ayan dapat ganyan talaga yung baby carrier". Wink wink...na pa smile ako. Imagine hands free mommy or daddy talaga.

1. I love to meet up with my friends and family. I crave for events like Christmas, Birthdays and Weddings because i get to see people who i care about. The energy combined with laughters and stories fills me up and give me a natural high.

2. Im a lakwatsera by heart. I was so blessed working in the airline industry before and i get to travel for free. I love to take snap shots of things and food that would remind me of the place and the things that happened. Even in the Metro i love to go to Divisoria, Quiapo just to find the best UKAY and bargains there is.

3. I was bored to death on my first month on Maternity Leave. Child caring can really be overwhelming too but now that im going back to work....i having separations anxiety already.

4. I love to explore new things. I want to try every new restaurant, spa treatment, the good life. I like to bring my husband too so that he can copy the dishes that we ordered.

5. Im a lip gloss addict. Especially the flavored lip gloss, i love them. Yum! My family and friends from the US gives me Carmex lip balm ( tried and tested so effective), Colognes and Lotions as pasalubong. Here are my PX goods.

On the top: Soon to open, Two Carmex balm
L-R: Victoria Secret Beauty Rush in Vanilla and Raspberry, Ilog Maria Honeybees wax and Propolis, Labello (frm the Business Class Loot kit), L'Occitane Chocolate, Carmex and CO Bigelow in Soda Fountain Flavor.

How fast time flies when your having fun. Okay, sometimes im bored to death thinking if what to do and how to spend time alone for myself, but what the heck, im getting used in being a mother of a newborn. Its seems ill be missing my baby more than anything when i go back to work.

All is set for Roo's Christening this Sunday. I'll post pictures after.

Roo is such a good baby, he only gets irate when he gets gas at night or when on the second day he still hasn't pooped. We tried everything from mansanilla to burping, he refuses to drink water too even with Karo syrup.

I love it when he curls up when i carry him and his smiles are precious and few that he shows me ( he smiles a lot when his daddy and lola calls him) maybe when im not always around he'll smile a lot for me.

-----------------------------------------------------

I have high regard for full time parents may it be the mother or the father. Being with your child 24/7 is no walk in the park. Its like deciphering a code to know what he needs but once you get the hang of it its like winning the Jackpot of smart parenting.

Staying at home for a month now made me appreciate freedom more. Freedom to spend time wisely, freedom to live more, learn more, laugh more and love unconditionally.
The realization of making everyday important because you are exchanging a day of your life for a new slate and making new etchings in your heart.

------------------------------------------------------
Don't pick up the phone and dial Bantay Bata....Roo is just fussy almost everytime i point my camera-phone to him.

After breastfeeding, i thought his done...oh im so wrong! Or is it the yellow bonnet?

Daddy helping him to burp....seems like he hated it.

The look of gas is in his eyes.

I swear he was just smiling before this shot.

All in a days work.
