Ive heard news that Manila Zoo will soon close to make way for the Philippine Basketball Association court. How sad. So without any hesitation, with full blast praying and hoping for a good weather, we trooped to Manila Zoo commute and all.

Roo, since he's still 8 months old, was not that fully aware of the animals except for the elephant.

I had mixed emotions about the visit. It was sad to know that the Famous Manila Zoo, where we had exposure trips from Kinder to 4th Year High School will now be closed. Gone. Bye bye. Forever. But in a way i was relieved because now the animals can better be taken care of since they'll be transferring to the other Zoo's in the Metro.

I dont know. For you out there. If you want to say farewell to the zoo, now is the time before its too late.

I just dont understand this:

There was no proper goodbye. No last visit or that longing look. Its so sad, so sad.

Everytime i pass Domestic airport i cant help but to feel loss. Ho Tsin Ho, the chinese restaurant in from of Patts, is gone. As well their branch along Pasay Rotonda. Bankrupt? Wawa naman.

That restaurant brings back memories way back childhood and the whole 7 years airport stint. So really its a big loss for me. But like what my boss said, its memories will linger in our hearts.

I love you Ho Tsin Ho. That's the first time i had a taste of Halo-halo congee and century egg and whenever i feel sick i just order Braised Beef and Chicken Mami with chili sauce and calamansi....Yum! What now without Siopao? They have the best Asado Siopao, for 1 order you get two siops and super bitin sa sarap.

Im going to miss u so much. I didnt have the opportunity to let Roo taste the best congee there is. So now ill settle for Luk Yuen and North Park. But nothing and i say nothing beats Ho Tsin Ho.

I studied in a place called Malate which was derived from the term Maalat, salty. It didnt occur to me that there would be so many things i would miss about it. I miss Alda's, the quant authentic Italian resto at Pedro Gil. I miss Bay Walk and the mass of people flocking it just to get a drink or spend free view of the glorious Manila Bay Sunset. All of it gone. Alda's close down and Bay Walk was removed by the new Mayor. There is also word that the magnificent fountain at Rajah Sulayman will close too. I dont know. If there is nothing wrong, i suggest dont touch it at all.

I attended the wedding of Tamy at Malate Church and it brings back memories. That was the church where i had my Holy Communion and Confirmation. When i was a child i felt it was so huge, now it feels like home. I miss it so much its as if i know it like the back of my hands. Which i do.

I hear it calling me from a far. I was strolling along High Street and i have no intentions at all to buy Harry Potter book 7 but just as i passed the 5 floor building of Fully Booked i just cant resist. I know for a Potter fan it was unwise for me to resist temptation. What was i thinking? So i swipped my card once more without any regrets and came home giddy like a kid with a new toy.

It took me a week before i could finish it. With all the work and stuff i need to do first and Alas! as my EQ is starting to wear down i finished the book.

Initial reaction. Sad. Because there were so many characters who died. Since its the last installment meaning that would be the end of the series.

Then mixed emotions came flooding in. The end it was so heart warming, like a pinoy teleserye, but come to think of it it was so bitin. News is that J.K. Rowling would relise like a Harry Potter Encyclopedia of somesort to explain what happened to the characters at the end. Of course, ill buy that too.

Im going to wait for the movie as well.

Thank you J.K. Rowling for your beautiful mind.

Im coming out in the open. I am a self confessed Shopaholic. Here are my normal lists of things I buy in a month. A book or books whatever good/cheap title there is in Booksale. Back issue magazines (3 for 100 or 2 for 100)for my monthly doze of mom power (Working mom & Smart Parenting), the fashion mag i get it from my mom's monthly stash.

DVD's of TV series like Heroes and Eureka. Not so much of a Grey's Anatomy fan but i like watching the series on StarWorld.

The thing that scares me now is that everytime i get online and see something cute and weird, i order and i buy. My constant request is for my hubby to stop me in placing that order.

I know i should prioritize things and leave within or even below my means but i cant. The more stress i am, the more i justify the little things i buy for myself. I dont know. Everybody is in some kind of stress in their lives so i really dont understand why is it such an effort for me not to spend. Take note im not splurging but of course, i dont have the luxery to do so.

My recent fascination is: The Plueys' Wellies.

I did a survey whether i would buy them or not and the answers are NO i should not buy it. But they are so cute and i really really was looking for something like it, di pa man dumadating yung tag ulan. Hopefully SM would have something which is cheaper, then i wouldnt feel guilty buying it.

I discovered a new song in the net. The title is FOR YOUR LOVE and it was sang by Ed Townsend. Its so sentimentally romantic. I love it. Id like to invite my hubby to dance with it. I dunno, maybe its the sugar rush that's talking because i ate 2 different Krispy Kreme donut which are too sweet. As in! Its so sweet i could have drank a super bitter coffee with it.

I still havent finish my HP7 book. I havent watch Simpsons the movie. I havent watch Eureka on DVD.

Roo is so kulit. He cant stay in one place and i hope he wont fall from the bed again. Thats the worst feeling a parent on duty could feel because you would feel very irresponsible and the guilt after is too much a conscience could bear.
