Summer is almost over, its a good thing my friend Chinggay invited me and my family to stay in their place at Subic.

Day 1:

Go to the boardwalk and have your picture taken.

Visit the lighthouse.

Go Kayaking in the afternoon at the Camayan Beach Resort

Drop be to say Hi to the monkeys.

The big one on the left, that's the one who scratched me.

We were suppose to hang out at Pier 1 after dinner but i was so exhausted.

Day 2:

It was raining when i woke up. Good thing it stopped because were on our way to Slide for Life. When we were there the place was unavailable because they are conducting a leaderdship seminar for a company.
So we dropped the kids first at Blockpia, a place were all kinds of lego's are there, and Hanz cant get his hands off them. Hanz with Rap and their lego's.

Then Banana boat ride we go!!!! For 250phph per head for 15 mins, sure that 15 mins was long enough. I was thrown out twice while my husband managed to stay on the boat while the rest were in the water. I like the part that we were dragged from the water to the boat like seals. Wet, heavy and eager to be pulled up again.

Then we dried ( as in dried fish, at 12 noon) ourselves at the Go Kart Station. They all said i drive like a lola, i said thats leisure driving for me. That's me with the white shirt.

In the afternoon we went to have a dip at the Subic Yatch Club. It feels like we own the place, no ones around. Sarap!

Goofing around with my brother.

And aside from the full accomodation, Chinggay treated us for a Spa at The Ritz.

I like there ceiling.

Day 3

Rain greeted us again and were off to the Slide for Life adventure. Bummer! When we arrived the place was close, since they needed to mend something from the bridge. So we decided to go to Zoobic instead.

And since its a rainforest were in, the rain was so unpredictable.

We rode the tiger feeding jeepney and yes, its scary. The tigers were so strong and Khrisna the tiger, even went on top of the jeep so we can feel the paw steps as she move. The guide said that tigers are aggressive when its raining coz they tend to me a little lazy when its hot.

Feeding time!

This is what i find amuzing. The ostriches look like dressed chickens because its mating season!

All in all the vacation was superb. We had fun, commuting from the bus terminal wasnt so bad after all. I slept the longest i had for months and i got to catch up with kwneto's from Ching. If Roo had fun, we had fun too. Thanks to Chinggay, Carl, Chad, Miggy and the yaya's. See you soon.

I clapped after she sang her last song and even gave her a standing ovation. One of the greatest and consistent singers in American Idol. She's my bet. Sayang. Hopefully, she'll have a carreer of her own after the program.

She's such an old soul.

I love to vote. I somehow believe in what Alan Peter Cayetano said, "We (the Philippines) have a clean and honest election but we have a dirty way of counting ballots....so true! In my dismay, i wrote my senatorial line up last minute and i hated myself for it. There is a name in my list which shouldnt be there, i was blinded, now and for the next years i will suffer the consequences. How can i be so reckless?!

Election might be over but the counting is not in full swing. Sad but there are even parts of the Metro wherein ballot boxes havent been endorsed for Municipal counting since some of the teacher's havent been paid yet.

Let's wait a month, hopefully the winners would be declared.

Let me borrow this phrase: I got booted out from Eden!!! Indeed it stinks!!!!!
I was sheltered in a very comfortable schedule and now im one with the school of fish in the sea.

I am not a fan of sudden, drastic change but i do not sulk on it too much. I get my bags and move on. It might take quite sometime but at least im doing something rather than nothing at all, which could be an option.

I haaattteeee it!!!!! Aaaarrggghhh!!! Grrrr....

The Lord is my shelter and refuge, nothing is impossible.

From the words of the Alchemist: “When you want something, the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
So i really need to assess myself to know what i really want. In general, i want to live in a happy world where everyone is free, healthy and beautiful inside and out. And that is not a Miss Universe answer!

Mood: depress, hopeful

If im going to the USA one place i would visit and have my picture taken would be at the Statue of Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog, at the University of Maryland, College Park. I live and breathe Sesame Street when i was a kid and i wish Roo would be too but it saddens me that only Elmo and Grover are being shown on air.

I love the Muppets and Fraggle Rock too. I remember watching Fraggle Rock when i was in elementary on Channel 13 before The Sic O Clock News, hehehe.

Jim Henson is a genius. Not only with his kid friendly shows but i really love Labyrinth. When i bought a dvd of Labyrintht i felt so ecstatic i wanted to go home and watch it. That's the time David Bowie caught my attention and yeah, the young Jennifer Connely.

My mom is a fan of Kermit the Frog, im a fan of Big Bird and Snuffy but my mom calls me Oscar the Grouch, hehehe. We are such a fan.

So Jim Henson, i know your up there in your Muppet world. A million Thanks for sharing your dreams and life to us. I love you.

This song bugged me before going to bed lastnight. While i was brushing my teeth this popped in my head. I couldnt get the lyrics straight, what i can only sing is the title. My hubby was no help, even as he tried to get the words right he was so sleepy he cant.

I remember the first time i listened to this song its as if im trapped in dreamland. I dont know what movie or series was this first heard.

Towards the end of the song, a whispered voice even explains a method for this: "Visualize your dream. Record it in the present tense. Put it into a permanent form. If you persist in your efforts, you can achieve dream control."

For all of you who feels alone and unwanted this book is for you. For those who doesnt share the same sentiments, its a guarantee you'll feel so lucky, special and loved after reading this book.

I was so intrigue with Chinese Cinderella, at first i thought, hmm something like Amy Tan of The Joy Luck Club (which is one of my fave) and i heared from the grapevine that Cindrella really was Chinese and not European. When i opened the book and read the first 3 pages i knew its worth reading and i cant even put it down. In one day, minus the times i need to play with Roo and my personal needs, i finished the book.

Story is short, precise, picturesque and most of all so heartwarming. It brought me to tears after reading it. I wanted to email Adeline Yeh Mah, the author, since it is a story of her life.

A heads up though, the story is really sad almost until the last chapter so if your brave enough to follow her life persuit, Go ahead and read it.

I love Mac for lending me her Chinese Cinderella.

May 2, 2007 (Tuesday)

What the!!! Everybody is either in the bank or in LBC, ah yeah it was holiday the other day thats why. I cant freakin make this payment, im itchin to have my new acquisition.

So off i go to make all my errands and that includes, bank hopping, NHA paying, College yearbook collection and a trip to MOA. The bank hopping didnt pay off but the rest, accomplished.

MY LRT ADVENTURE

Waiting for the train to arrive at the platform...ala KingsCross Station but actually im in Baclaran station. (Trivia: Baclaran is the first South station of LRT Line 1 and the last is Monumento (North Station).

The interior looks clean and the aircon is actually working. A plus for the LRT management.
Its not allowed to take pictures of the train. I was suppose to capture the train arriving but the guard called my attention, embarrasing. Being the semi-lawbreaker that i am...i asked my ever dearest hubby to take my picture while the train is moving out from the station, para di ako makita ng guard.
The icons on my shirt will be proud if we follow the rules above my head.

IN ST.SCHO
At long last, after 8 years i get to have and to hold my yearbook. I thought it wouldnt materialize in front of me. Halleluyah!!!! Many things changed. High tech na school namin. Even the pergola had a face lift or chair change to be exact.

Aside from the library, the chapel is where i spend sometime alone.
Big deal sa akin to!! Sana gawin na lang din nilang green yung sapatos ni Ronald Mcdonald!!!! Waaahhh!!! My hubby being the (urgh!)Lasalista that he is said: Eh di request mong gawing blue yung Jollibee (which is the fastfood near St. Scho). Arrrggghhh!!!

MALL OF ASIA

The ultimate merienda ever!!!! Pancit Luglog, Halo-Halo and Dinuguan at puto with bottled water. I love Razon's (originally from Pampanga) i make it a point if im in MOA and Robinson's Place i eat at Razon's, thats cheaper than going to Pampanga.
Somebody forgot to open the flash, Me! The magnificent Globe of MOA. It changes its color every 3 mins. The globe here is in Silver. First time i saw this kala ko nasa Daily Planet na ako and Superman would be flying out from nowhere.

My brother is a Spiderman fan. I remember when he was 5 we would go to the mall and he would wear his Spidey costume with mask and all. He was so cute. He also sings the Spiderman song and my friends were like requesting him to sing it again and he'll do so with Spidey moves included.

I watched Spiderman 3 today with my hubby since brother wants to watch it with mom on sunday. I bought him an action figure instead.

The movie was nice both kids and adults would appreciate it. There are 3 parts i like about the film Fist is the part Spdrman tagged the (2nd) Green Goblin in the alley. Second, when S was dancing like John Travolta and the Last was the latter part of the film wherein he looked like JAKE GYLLANHALL. My hubby pointed that one out.

Watch it you'll like it.

When i watched the movie The Pursuit of Happyness i felt the need to excel in everything. Not that im mediocre but sometimes you lose focus on things and take things as it is one day at a time. I sometimes just ride with wave wherever it takes me. This week was another eye opener for me, carreer wise. My dearest friends (take note plural form) were promoted and i was like...uhhh wait...i dont want to be left behind. I need to work extra hard to make my way up there without the office politics crap. Now im here at the crossroad of my career, thinking whether i walk to the right direction or just keep still in the middle and convince myself to wake up and fight the current.

My new team and I, together with my old teammates/family (naks!) went out last night. The usual team building ekek that lead to inuman. I went home sober, a Margarita and 1 San Mig lights with a full tummy for me (inulam yung pulutan). We had so much fun they thought i was drunk already because my face was so red but it was because i was laughing so hard my jaw hurt. I miss you guys.. Francis keeps on convincing me to transfer to Commonwealth to get that promotion, its too far for me, even if his catch phrase is "sabay naman tayo uuwi". No way!!! Im so tamad to commute. Commonwealth is so far from Las Pinas.

With Mark, Lee and Leon.

Forgive me, its really that dark...

Today is my blog reading day and i had mix emotions on my friend's blog. I feel a great sadness overwhelm me when i read Angie's. Until now im still preparing myself for the great big loss. A loss of a love one. Life is so unpredictable, one minute your in bliss and the next minute your in misery. Im preparing for the latter. The big What If keeps in creeping on me and i keep on ignoring it. As if a big wall of denial protects me. As of know im still gathering my strenght to face challenges life throws back at me. Morbid as is sounds but Death is inevitable. I learned a lot from Morrie and i hope that if my time comes, i could have a eulogy of my own.
