That's the term for the day. Hanz and I visited the OB and during the normal check-up procedure she advised me that my cervix is open and its 1cm already. I was like, WHAT!?! Is that a good thing? Of course she said it was. I was like, wait im not yet ready. Does this mean ill be giving birth soon? Tonight? Tomorrow? Wait!!!!

As if i can stop this thing from happening. I still have an appointment with Jeff who will take a picture of me while Rooroo is inside. My second baby shower will be held on sunday. I still need to file my Maternity leave on dec3 so that i can go back on February 2. My hospital bag is still empty.

On the other hand, i cant wait to see and interact with my baby. I wasnt able to have a 4d ultrasound, i was suppose to do so but the clinic told me that the baby is too big for the ultrasound procedure so i settled for 2d just to check how my amniotic fluid is plus if the baby is breech, good thing everything's normal.

I would like to acknowledge two of my ka-buwanan, Chinggay(college Kada) and Maan (college dormate). Chinggay texted me last night asking if im having false labor i said No and she said she thinks she's having one. Anyway, false alarm. Maan, while im doing this blog she texted, is now in the hospital waiting to give birth. She had her contractions at 6pm and now is in 3cm.

So i talked to Rooroo and ask him if he really is ready to go out of to the world and meet us. So far all his answers are blood spotting and sharp stabs on my ribs and skin.

The opening of Dairy Queen in SM Southmall is a much awaited event for me. I cant wait to taste the old fashion Mud Pie blizzard and have the crew tip it upside down to see whether it will fall or not. So come sunday after hearing mass and having dinner at Almond Marina with the family we went straight ahead to DQ to have dessert.

To my surprise they serve all sorts of ice cream which was overwhelming.
They serve smoothies, caramel latte and even hotdogs and burgers. But of course, being the food addict that i am i aimed my view to the Blizzard Section.

While i was reading the choices my heart thumps a little because i cant find my favorite flavor. Where in the world is my MUD PIE? Ive searched and searched i dont care if the line was getting longer and the crew was giving me a dagger look to move aside so she can go ahead and take the order of the next person in queue. Where is my freaking Mud pie? I even Oh what the heck, I dont want to ruin my sunday night so i settled for a Brownie temptation Blizzard. Thank heavens it was divine and my tastebuds wasn't disappointed, I was not disppointed. Hanzel ordered Chocolate Chips Blizzard which doesnt come any close to my Brownie. Too bad my hubby now has an ichy throat and i still have my coughing spells.

So this is how i feel about myDairy Queen encounter.
Boohooo....no mud pie. But i think this means i should go out of the box and order another flavor.

Im such a sucker for The Amazing Race. I would stay up late to or wake up early the following day just to watch it. I followed the race around the world for 10 sessions and so far all my bets lost. Sayang! Now that there is Amazing Race Asia im so thrilled to watch it every THU/9pm. Sad though, the Pinoy married couple was the 1st to be eliminated. Hay! Now i have to root for Aubrey n Jackie...tsk tsk tsk...in fairness, Aubrey can ran fast kahit puro pa cute. So now i know how the American's feel whenever someone from their state aws eliminated.

Another amazing part of my life right now is the soon to arrive baby in town. Rooroo kicks as much as the little space in my tummy can allow and sometimes i just feel that his ready to come out of me. I just hate my coughing spell, i feel Rooroo gets rumbled inside. Wawa naman. Since i am now considered part of the waiting game, any moment Rooroo will arrive, i have to be ready. I still havent fixed my hospital bag and still WE (hanz n I) needs to do so many things.
