Changes

Remember when i said i want to go back to Alabang. There is another catch to it. Im moving to a new company. Of course with higher pay. So hopeful i wont compromise putting food on the table and spending more quality time with the family.

Im going to start tomorrow. Im so excited!

Weather you like it or not!

It raining non stop. Arrgghh. I really dont like the rain, even if its giving me an excuse to wear my Pluey raiboots. I hate getting wet without my consent. hehehe
Well, i cant fight with Mother Nature. That's why in my own simple form im helping her to heal ( read: bring my own shopping bag and not using the mall's or even Divisoria's plastics).

Even if the rain would give you the urge to stay in bed longer or just hearing the pitter patter would calm you. Its hindering me to go out of the house ( laziness) and think of the things ill miss out today, considering its Saturday.

Well. I just wish tomorrow would be a better than today.

Im listening to Beirut. Actually i just discovered them last week while i was bumming on the net and its love at first hear. Its an American band but they play folk / world music. Nice to listen to them in this damp weather.

Feels like Vintage

I went to MOA ( again!) to meet with my mentor Boss Jogie. We had our lunch at Aristocrat. Its been a long time since we havent seen each other and i felt that things have changed. Well indeed somethings changed. Like his getting thinner ( needs to due to health constrain) and im getting fatter ( ouch!) but the feeling that transpired was still the same. I told him its as if im wearing vintage. Haha. I dont know if he got the thought. Everything is so familiar and pleasant. I miss him now more than ever. Anyway, he promised the next time he will be the one treating me to Matis. Our favorite carinderia in Don Galo. We miss Carina too.

By the way, the weather is freaking me out. Its suppose to be summer but its raining like crazy.

I just cant beleive it!

Remember my last post about me wishing so hard to go back to Alabang. We'll i think destiny was on my side because the following day i got a call from my boss telling me that im going to report to Alabang starting monday. I was like. Huwat!?

That goes to show that good things come to those who wait (but not for those who waits too late).

Thank you Lord.

This will be a different ballgame and i say Bring it On!!!

Holy Moly

I have plans this week and that includes forgetting work for the moment and focusing on my time with Roo, Hanz, friends and my own personal time.

Ive finished re-reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and i have to admit after the 1st time i read it, i see it in a different light. Funny when you read the whole book again there would be times that you already know what would happen or sometimes you would ask yourself, was i asleep when i was reading this chapter? I still like the book. So many characters died. I even gave a moment of silence as i reflect on their lives. Thats how i love the story, aside from Lord of the Rings.

I still have lots of books unread and waiting for me to open them. However sometimes i feel that i like to rekindle the love for easy and not too long plot story lines. Thank heavens i got the time to finish this. My escape to reality.

Its Maundy Thursday. I wasnt able to go to church. Hanz and I took turns looking after Roo since the yaya went on Rest day.

Im thinking so hard on moving back in Alabang to work. I wish if i wish so hard it would come true. Salary increase would be beneficial as well.

And while im eating cornflakes while typing this i just want to say that Kellogs Frosted Flakes are far better than Nestle Cornflakes. Thats all. Bow.

Esplanade Escapade

Ok, its really not an escape. Its just borrowed time. Huwat! Where am i getting this?

Anyway, Hanz and I went to MOA to meet up with Judy (Joan's sister) who will visit her in Canada.

Fine! We waited for Judy for only a couple of minutes and when i handover her padala Hanz and I headed at the back of MOA. Good thing Hanz knows MOA like the back of of hands and would tell me its just a small mall. I was like, uhm okay im lost again. So here is what we did.

Swimwear hunting

Its summer and its time to hit the pool and the beach.

Tans and I went to Paseo in Sta Rosa to scout for her swimwear. To my surprise i caught myself trying on bathing suits too. Speedo has an outlet store there and the people from all walks of life are really flocking the place. I bought an Endurance red one piece for 1100php and a magenta shorts.

There was also Dupe sold or 40% in the other store and i bought one. Hopefully it would also be as sturdy as my Havaianas.

All flip flops has a store there too but they only have highs for women, im a flats kinda girl.

I cant wait to wear my new new bathing suit. Confidence is the key.
