One fine morning Ellen, the Traffic Officer and a good friend, told me to ready my passport for my training in Dubai. Okay. Im not surprised because im one of the Trainer in the office so its quite expected.

The hotel Key for room 511, Arabian Court Hotel.
The Room:Twin Beds, Bath and Shower, FREE Mini Bar, Every Local Phonecall 1dirham (15 pesos), Cable Tv.. i survived with cartoon network and Soundtrack channel
The Crew:With the best PINOY crew, every PINOY in the hotel knows our name even before we see them. As in feeling five star ang service.
The Food:Free breakfast...thats why I really stuff myself....No rice...I can survive with that
The View out my window: In front of the Hotel is the Dubai Museum. A very postcard-ish effect outside A big wooden boat and the roof of the mosques...nice...
In the afternoon Malen, my Villamor kaberks, fetch me and toured me around Jumeirah with her/our Kuya Jay's car with family . They bought me to the BURJ Al Arab in Jumeirah http://www.burjalarab-hotel-dubai.com/ and Mercato mall http://www.mercatoshoppingmall.com/ for picture taking. We went to Malen's flat after and saw Pamela Lacap, my good friend in Highschool. She was still the same. Coolness and everything. Parang walang silent moment sa kulitan namin dalawa. Girls na nga kami ngayon eh. Dati nung highschool we play the Rapist sa mga plays kaya now its so fun to see ourselves all girly-girly...she maintained her figure ako i evolved.
Saturday, 16 April
First day for training and Tiny and I were late. It was a one on two training. Venus Benesisto, a good friend, dami kong good friend...totoo naman eh...was our trainer. Its a train the trainer thing. In dubai the training starts at 0800H at 1030H its automatic that they have a break. Coffee, tea or just out for chat. 1230H Lunch and 1500H uwian na....Thats how life is there...and the pay is good.
In the afternoon I went out to see Lori and Loui. We went to 2 malls...ang daming malls sa dubai...By 1900H Sadiq, our Pakistani friend, fetched us and drove us to Madinat Jumeirah, currently the Mall to be
As seen in photo, thats how beautiful the place is. Not so many people to see only the affluent ones because its so far from the city and its not so accesible. At night you can have dinner al fresco style and watch the burj Al Arab Hotel change its color. Its like seeing a squid change its color.
After the mall tour, Sadiq bought me a baby tee and cap with CaMeL as design. Nicey!
They bought me back to my hotel room and said our bittersweet goodbyes.
Sunday 17 April
I was still sleepy from last nights trip. Tiny and I were struggling not to be late. Tiny moved in to my room and witness how Kalat I can be. we were late again. Shish! It was down to business for us. We had our airport tour c/o Venus.
If you can see my pass has punched holes on it. Selfmade to because when Dulari, the indian woman in training, gave my id i was so excited to use it I didnt check the holes to fit my pin. So i punched it to fit my id holder. Anyway, its the id that counts. Passed throught the strict security, good thing they werent able to confiscate my digital camera. I was able to make picture picture too. After our airport trip we went back to Kanage's office and he treated us for merienda at the GraNd HyATT. I had pepper steak pie and a smoothie. Yum!!!
It was almost 5pm and we decided to call it a day. Venus dropped us back to the Hotel. I realized that for my whole stay in Dubai Ive been to this far malls and hotels but the Dubai museum which was just in front of my hotel I still havent visit. So I rushed to see if its open and I went in.
It was a beauty inside. It was an underground museum. Its well kept. I was the only one person there taking her own picture. Everybody was with somebody. How i wish Hanz was there. There was this area wherein they use astrology to guide them in their everyday living and an old German couple went under the stars and danced and kissed while I was there. Hello! Do i look invisible? But its ok, i just left the room. Im just sourgraping i dont have someone to snuggle with in there.
After an hour of touring ALONE I went back to the hotel. I changed clothes and Tiny and I went out of the room to do our pasalubog buying. The first time i visited UAE my sandal strap broke so for the nest two visits I decided to bring an extra sandals just for emergency. Not so far from the hotel the emergency arise. With a different sandal, the strap broke again. What a relief I was still near the hotel and i bought an extra. If not. Im doomed wearing the Hotel sleepers. gross. Take note all electronics in Dubai are cheap. Most especially Ipods....I just dont have the money to buy...HuHuHu..This is the only thing left of my allowance.
Im going home to Manila in just 3 hours after the shopping trip and Im so exited.
At the airport.
I lost my Visa...cant find it anywhere. Ive searched all over. I dont want to get stranded here. Thank Heavens it was an electronic visa so my name if in the Immigration computer. If not. I dont want to be a camel driver.
The trip was fun. I saw my long time friends. I made new ones. I have many pictures to bring home and lots of exposure to learn from in the future.
